Campark has a rich history dating back to the 1700s. Originally the property was granted to British Loyalists who moved across the river from Pensyllvania. The Pew family resided on the property and ran a large farm across its grounds until the war broke out in 1812. The father and son fought in the war between the British and US and did not travel far from home. In fact the US fought on the very street the present campground resides on, Lundy’s Lane and the battle went down in history as the Battle of Lundy’s Lane.
Stretched across the property are the original preserved house and barn that were apart of the farm.
Today it is a luscious campground welcoming Americans and Canadians and travelers from overseas to see the natural wonder, Niagara Falls.
I would like to no if you have any space this weekend May 28, 29 & 30th. Please e-mail or call 916-628-4396.
Kindest regards,
Bernard
